![]() SQUARE PEGA Poem by Bear
Whispering sounds echoing inside my head
Filling me with thoughts that barely can be read Reminding me I am still a square peg In a world full of round holes Destine to be one of life's many lost souls Too strong to quit, too stubborn to forget And unwilling to conform just to fit I'm not a puzzle piece life can cut down Even though people would have me pretend I'm round My wasted potential everyone else can see Trapped inside it remains my mystery For who can see inside my skin And not judge me by their own sin When better things have I in mind My place in life I pray to find Bear © 2015 BearAuthor's Note
