INSIDE A POETS MINDA Poem by Bear
Picture "Education" by Tito Salomini
Balanced on the hands of time I struggled with my thoughts looking for a rhyme Deep wisdom of philosophers past In their enlightenment I tried to bask Then the romantic classics came to mind But words on statues and ruins I could not find So to the mysteries of myth and magic I did turn Where Stonehenge and druids in my mind did burn But up in smoke my thoughts faded from view I wonder now what kind of poem I should do Maybe to space and the last frontier I should go There are things out there that man will never know Or should I write on the things that I know the best Friends, fights and feelings and throw out the rest So many things to write about in here can I find At play on the playground inside of my mind Bear © 2015 BearAuthor's Note
