Cold-Hearted Curse

Cold-Hearted Curse

A Poem by Dalton Wagoner
"

This is another Sonnet I wrote today. Hope you like it!

"
You cold-hearted curse, you mess with my mind
And you always seem to govern my life
My yearnings are just a terrible grind
Always causing an interior strife
You always dictate who my friends will be
Only to focus my mind on one thing
Finding the dupes to be rid of my spree
But it's never enough to end the fling
Ever so slowly you tear me apart
Never to cut me the least bit of slack
The worst part is that you seem to impart
You talk and you talk, never to hold back
You cold-hearted curse, I know you won't leave
So, I guess we'll be joint, you vile pet peeve
