Dormancy in the Contrary

Dormancy in the Contrary

A Poem by Scarlet Pulse

A tunnel

Of bare trees

Where early risers

Grace with their presence

Gazing into a lonesome sky

Foreseeing the ascending sun

Winter winds whistle

Woodpeckers, red-bellied

Mourning doves sing

Forewarning the tide of gather

Nice Poem.

It has a strange, lovely flow. And the alliteration is a nice touch. Technically, this appears to be a very sound poem. Artistically, beautiful.
