My mind

My mind

A Poem by HeartBound

In the deepest part of my mind I'm dark, twisted, with barely enough sense to control the evil that would consume my soul if I let it.

Those who see my smile, see it as just that, a simple smile that shows happiness and joy, but to those who dont see my smile for that, know it is truely a mask to hide the darkness that my eyes let out into the world.

I may smile in your direction but my soul yearns to be in the darkness where joy has no place, where every happy memory has a horrible one connected to it and every smile is connected to a tear.

He helps me escape from my mind, he lets me see the joy in everything, My love, My joy, all of it comes within his presence, where he brightens up my sky, and the simple kiss of his lips makes me forget every pain, if only for a moment.
