Alive In the Music

We all have those songs that make us feel so good that we forget everything that was going on and just lose ourselves whether it's in the beat, the lyrics or melody.

I'm letting loose.

My body absorbs the lights

and I jump.

The floor shakes underfoot;

the mass of beings become

one. For tonight

I have

let everything go,

let go of the wrongs

and rights.

Sound waves rip through

my skin and my veins;

hairs stand to attention

and heart

pumping to the beat.

All the weight is

off

my shoulders.

My hips

sway

with grace and elegance;

I feel alive.
