Pineapples -
Fresh Pineapples 1.98 Each
Strawberries -
Fresh Strawberries 2 lbs 2.98 Each
Bananas -
Fresh Bananas .48 lb
Apples -
Fresh Golden Delicious Apples 3 lbs 1.98 Each
Fresh Red Delicious Apples 5 lbs 3.98 Each
Grapes -
Fresh White Seedless Grapes 2.97 lb
Oranges -
Fresh Texas Oranges, 4 lb 2.98 Each
Kiwi -
Fresh Kiwi 3 for 1.00

So the idea is to have Apples and Bananas daily. Great snack foods. And I'm not looking to get a TON, I just want enough to last the day.

Monday - Apples and Bananas 3.98
Tuesday - Pineapples 1.98
Wednesday - Grapes 2.98
Thursday - Apples and Bananas (restock if needed) 3.98
Friday - Oranges  2.98
Saturday - Apples and Bananas (restock if needed) 3.98
Sunday - Kiwi (or other) 1.00

So I'm looking at 14.00 to 25.00 a week on Fruits alone

Carrots -
Fresh Carrots 0.87 lb
Peas -
H'E'B Green Peas, 16 oz 1.19 Each
Cauliflower -
H'E'B Cauliflower Florets, 16 oz 0.98 Each
Broccoli -
H'E'B Broccoli Cuts, 16 oz 0.88 Each
Cucumbers -
Fresh Cucumbers 0.57 Each
Potatoes -
Lone Star Russet Potatoes Bag, 10 lbs 3.77 Each
Celery -
Fresh Celery 1.28 Each

I'm looking at 10.00 to 15.00 dollars a week for Vegetables. Which is amazing. Because I seriously didn't think it would be that cheap.  And I've got the choice to buy it all at once OR just what I need that day.

So anywhere from 25.00 to 35.00 on Vegetable and Fruits a week.
100-125 to 140-175 a month. Not terrible. I hate spending money, it makes my sanity drop but I have to remember, this is the cost of living better, longer.

Chicken -
Hill Country Fare Seasoned Chicken Leg Quarters 0.97 lb
Hill Country Fare Lemon Peppered Chicken Leg Quarters 0.97 lb
Hill Country Fare Young Chicken Leg Quarters 0.97 lb

Meat/Stakes
USDA Select Boneless Shoulder Ranch Steak 5.47 lb
H'E'B 73% Lean Ground Beef 16 oz 3.67 each
Market Boneless Lean Stew Meat 5.47 lb

So a good Dinner Plan would be

Monday - Seasoned Chicken w/ Cauliflower, Potatoes, Carrots
Tuesday - Boneless Steak w/ Broccoli, Potatoes, Celery
Wednesday - Lemon Peppered Chicken w/ Peas, Potatoes, Cauliflower
Thursday - Stew Meat w/ Carrots, Potatoes, Broccoli
Friday - Young Chicken w/ Celery, Potatoes, Peas
Saturday - Ground Beef (Burgers/Meat Loaf/Etc.)
Sunday - LEFT OVER DAY!

I'm the only person in my household that would eat any of the Vegetables listed above, without issue. Sheldon does not like Cauliflower or Broccoli, BUT with some determination I'm sure he can get it down! I just need to find a way to make it taste good. Because I'm the one working mornings 6 a.m. , I get off in the afternoon 12 p.m. - 2 p.m., meaning, I'm gonna have my hands full coming home with all the supplies for dinner but, I'm actually kinda excited for it. Once I get used to it, we can see about switching up and adding different things to the list, like maybe some days do pasta, etc.

Now just to run this by the big man when he gets home, see if there is anything he'd want to change. The one thing I've been working on since he left home, this afternoon. If everything goes well, then we will be starting this at the beginning of next month. We've got to clear out the fridge and cabinet first! Got so much crap in there. Better enjoy it while we can!
