Where's My Teddy?!

Where's My Teddy?!

A Poem by Baz
"

A little girl has lost her favourite teddy bear. Where could he be..?

"

I've lost my favourite teddy,

It's really very weird.

He was on the chair beside the stair,

But now he's disappeared.

He’s not beneath the table,

He isn’t in the sink.

Where has he gone, my little one?

Now let me have a think.

He's not behind the sofa.

He isn't on the shelf.

I'm so afraid he's been mislaid,

And now he's by himself.

What shall he do at bedtime,

When it’s dark; too dark to see?

He'll get a scare, my little bear,

He isn't brave (like me).

But wait! My Daddy found him!

He was underneath the rug!

My little pet was so upset,

I gave him such a hug!

So I climb in bed beside him,

And I hold him extra tight.

And I let him know I won't let go,

Until the morning light.

Oh I love it, I see what you mean we did seem to go the same way with this theme. You though gave it such a childlike quality as if being narrated by the child itself. You truely have talent for the art of childrens story telling. Keep em' coming
