Seven Billion Frowns

Seven Billion Frowns

A Poem by Roberta
"

Thought bubble.

"
Miserable faces.
Unhappy frowns.
Dreary places.
Grumpy sounds.

Thoughts of hugs.
And thoughts of smiles.
Ugly mugs.
And life's long trials.

Dreams of love,
And hearts so near.
Yet in the mind
Are thoughts so drear.

Never being true.
Never being happy.
Always feeling blue.
Always feeling snappy.

Fear of being real.
Fear of being rejected.
Scared is what they feel.
What they feel is neglected.

Dreams of happiness,
And people to hold dear.
Fed up of the stress,
From love so near.

Thoughts of want,
And thoughts of need.
Faces gaunt,
And tired indeed.

Miserable faces.
Unhappy frowns.
Dreary places.
Grumpy sounds.

This is really sweet, and the oddity lends to the atmosphere. :)
