Teenage love.

Teenage love.

A Poem by Roberta
"

Something to state.

"
It can shred your entire being.
Yet, we do not care.

Never do we wait, or be patient,
or just stop and stare.

We rush for things, when need not be,
even when time is ours.

We're supposed to wait, and let love find us,
and grasp us in it's powers.

Because we're teenagers,
and in 'love',
to us it doesn't matter.

But yet we deny the simple truth
Our young hearts too easily shatter.

I'm a little bit rusty, it's been a few months since my last poem, but I would really appreciate some comments, they'd be really helpful (:

This is so true. I love how simple it is, but it says so much. This is an awesome poem, personally I think it should have more reviews and a lot more views.
