The ongoing love

Tears come rolling down the discolored cheeks
Her eyes look like glass
Her beautiful full heart was broken
By the death of another
Her life revolved around him
He gave her the bounce in her step
Made her feel whole
However the universe took away her love
Without him she felt lost
Her life with him was perfect
She was going to marry him
Have children
They were the high school sweethearts
Of their years in school
She was sure he was going to be there forever
However a disease took over him
Trying to battle the impossible
His final hours of life were the hardest
He told her he loved her and will wait for her on the other side
With his final goodbye she crashed in furiousness and sorrow
She left his grave in tears each day she visited him
She told him that she couldn't handle each day without him
She became a recluse
To the whole world she was oblivious
She then one day decided
Her fate was up and had to go
Go to the world where she hope he'd be
She grabbed the razor and slit her wrists
Then began driving down a highway while bleeding to death
Her death was tragic
And was quick at once
Her own grief brought her to her own bliss

This is a very heart wrenching description of grief and love. I feel that this had to be based on some real experience as it seems that the pain that it conveys within the words, could not be fabricated. If it was someone very close to you, you have done honor to both yourself and the individuals it portrays. If this is a scenario from within your own imagination then you obviously have a very keen imagination. Either way, you have done well.

Wow. Very powerful! It nearly made me cry which is somewhat hard to do. Death always takes what we hold dearest to are hearts. So over time people deal with in different ways. So grow to accept it. Others lock away there hearts so they can feel the 0ain or the next to come. That is what I have done. It is hard to lose one to nature but another to them self it makes you wonder if there was anything you could of done. Then people feel sorry for you with out understanding. You wish to be understood not sorry for. But no matter how you loose someone it is the worst pain one could ever feel. It as if the one who left took a piece of you with them. Which they have. Thank you very dearly for sharing this sad and powerfull piece. It spoke to me very deeply. Thank you very much. You did a wonderful job.

The above lines stood out to me. I lost many to suicide. We never know when someone is tire of living. We must pay attention. Thank you Lauren for sharing the powerful and sad poetry.
