Cold As IceA Poem by Lauren_The_AwesomeI would of let you go if I could Your love possessed me like a poison Why do you have to look so beautiful With the eyes of an angel but a heart of a devil My heart got shattered many times But I didn't care I let you take me away With your graceful walk You got me fooled with those smart words Saying what I wanted to hear You seemed like you were the real thing So nice and lovable But I must have been second guessing myself Because your heart was as cold as ice So much meanness inside of the mind of yours I wish I had seen it the first time But my eyes were covered over the blanket of love Love was the shameful thing that kept me with you My eyes finally opened up and came to my senses Your love made me feel real but had an artificial feeling
