A beautiful day came and went

To many things to see so little time

Births and deaths come every minute

Especially your death that caused me pain

I wish we had more time

More experiences, I'm sorry

I'm glad I got to meet you

I miss you everyday of my life

I have all your pictures in my room

To remember all the good times

Even though you left me so soon

I remember so much

Thank you for taking care of me and loving me

I wish I could of told you this before you left

When I saw you when you departed

I cried my eyes out questioning life

Why does such great people have to leave

I was only nine

I didn't know the first thing about death

Six years later and the pain is still there

Every second I'll be thinking of you

I just wish we had more time

I wish you could see me graduate and get married

I miss you grandpa every second of my life
