Broken

My boyfriend cheated on me, and he said he needed time. Then I found out my ex boyfriend I still had feelings for still loved me. This is what I thought of it.

My defenses are like broken glass

Shattered and broken from the past

No one can fix it no one has tried

No one knows how many times I've tried.

 

Whenever I see him I want to melt

I just wish I knew how he felt

He says he loves me and wants me to wait

I wish I could leave it up to fate.

 

But the other boy is so sweet and kind

This love crept up on me from behind

I hate this and I just can't tell

Sometimes I think I'm in Hell.

 

I wish there was somewhere I could hide

No one knows how Broken I am inside.
