The Mermaid

Ever wanted to get away, and just be yourself...

The wind blows a pleasant breeze

The beautiful flowers and buzzing bees

The soft warm sun beating down

Splashing water all around

 

The deep blue sea calm and cool

So much better than a swimming pool

The deeper and deeper that you go

The more the underwater world will show

 

Deep in the ocean you will find

A beautiful maiden sweet and kind

She gets to live in such a pretty place

Not many people see her face

 

Her hair different shades of blue and white

Her eyes a dark blue such a pretty sight

Her golden tail and shimmery nails

She swims faster than any boat with sails

She is the mermaid who lives under the sea

 Oh how I wish that girl was me.
