TRAIL OF LIESA Poem by Basu Gupta
I was in the dark n shouting loud
when I hear your voice in a casual crowd with a tongue of black which truth just lack with the floor just shook n' followed a crack.. I just tried to make my foot on way All I need's some strength I dare to say to bear such a dreadful night to quench my thirst with a "SHINING DAY" Shining day yes I dare to say I want a shining day Can't I live my way.. I then watched you in the narrow street With your head on his lap on a brownish seat I just fell from the highest height With anger being poured down through eyes.. Then I smashed my pitiable unrequited face Coz, I didn't do wrong in our SHARED case Now I just hate of being an optimistic fool who crushed his dreams for a lady so cruel Though she stole my heart with her glaring eyes Still i don't want a trail of lies I can live my life as a lonely one With days like nights in-spite of sun A body devoid of heart n' soul But i can surely learn to crawl... yes i can learn to crawl yes i can learn to crawl Yes i'll crawl even i'll fall With betrayed soul still i'll crawl.. Yes i'll crawl
even i'll fall With betrayed soul still i'll crawl.. © 2014 Basu GuptaAuthor's Note
