Letters Scraped Off a Wall

Letters Scraped Off a Wall

A Poem by Luca Basso

A jumble of miscellaneous characters existing within

the confines of Parker Construction’s story of self-deprecation;

yearning, enmity, loathing of the upper men

       An external locus of identity?

       A reflection of reality?

In absence of the compassionate overseer, let’s mangle the

wall of anonymity.

Hide from judgment in an extravagant display to perhaps,

manufacture judgement to justify our desperate loathing, contempt and

        hate

To recognise the prowess of the pioneers? Jason, Ricky, Christopher Mallins and

Jessie, Caleb woz here, Mr. Dixon’s pungent aroma, &*@#, Life isn’t worth livi-

   Jane and Samuel were here <3   2004
