With The Heroes

The heart is the strongest part

to feel your heart is just a start

it can make you brave....make you strong

when you're confused, it won't wrong

 

Believe in god and his will

believe in god and live until

you are strong enough to show your skill

aim your sword and kill

 

let your heart stay.... fly WITH THE HEROES away

be brave and fight.... cut throats for your right

never feal alone... heroes are around your throne

heroes never die... the live up high in the sky

velve your wings and fly... up WITH THE HEROES high

 

Open your wings open your mind

no matter what you bring or what you hide

what's in the heart will still in the heart

it carries your secrets with the stars

 

Open your hands open your eyes

open your ears and hear the victory's cries

your name will be written with the stars

of victory that tears out the sky

 

let your heart stay... fly with the heroes away

be brave and fight... cut the throats for your right

never feel alone ... heroes are around your throne

heroes never die... they live up high in the sky

velve your wings and fly.... up WITH THE HEROES high

My head tells me that you are right. As always I think too much to feel properly. I also sense that to write properly we should write from the heart with feeling. Yet here I am, wondering if we can think our way to feelings. Of course, we can't. If there is no heart there, we can't think one into being. I wonder if too much thinking gets in the way of feeling? You poem -- which I enjoyed -- also makes me think of The Stranglers' song 'No More Heroes Any More ... no more Shakeperios...'
