A Tale of Two Cities

Tale of Two Cities

an English man locked in prison
driving him insane
breaking his wisdom
and when he's gone free
a broken man already
nothing is like what it seemed to be

Blood pours like rain
in an innocent city
innocents are shed through streets
dark is the sky
while the children weeps
but hope will never die

Living like slaves
crushed their heads by carts
driven by the aristocrats
while rage rises
but people are getting wiser
the Constitution is on its way...
to astray
astraaaay!

but through the darkness came the Jackes
brave revolutionaries, will never be cracked
shouting for freedom, vengeance
shouting for peace and justice

then it comes to the guillotine
they killed the king and the queen
influenced the world by their tale...
a tale of two cities...
tale of two cities!!
