Toy Story

Toy Story

A Poem by Solynara
"

I wrote this when i was 14. Loneliness, and feeling needless for those you love most can be painful Enjoy

"

Listen to the story of the toy

That once was a source of joy

Listen to the words of the witness on the shelf

Witnessed a tragedy as immortal as Troy

The tragedy of being left to rust

The grief of being covered in dust

And my owner leaving me for rust and dust

For he is no longer a little boy....I once was a mighty soldier

No, but the master of soldiers

Fought battles, busted camps, ruled the world

Never got tired and never got bored

I rode horses, I rode planes

And for so many doll enemies i have caused pains

But now what do you think is the feeling of a soldier

That has retired although never got older?!when my owner cried , i was his friend

He was relieved when he talked to his friend

With me he needn't to pretend

Weren't i better than his girlfriend?!

Now, children of the world, who to blame?

Is it you or is it life to blame?!

Anyway it seems the toy and owner relation's fate is....

To be a sweet photograph in an elegant frame
