Hell had Warmth

Hell had Warmth

A Poem by Barrettg26

Hell had warmth
though, the sounds were vicious.
We fools, our breath will be cut short.

any valor would be fictitious.

Judgment poured,
No cover in sight.
But suddenly, silence roared!
Perhaps I’ve seen hells last night.

The new day rose, slightly altered,
my eyes were changed,
my mind faltered.
Life seemed rearranged,

My soul grew old,
fighting off this damn cold.
