Walk Away

Walk Away

A Poem by Barbara Borel

Will you be the one to wipe my tears, take my hand through all the years?

Will you tell me I'll be okay, be my protector from evil prey.

Can you be my all, my other half, to love and to hold or will you damn my black loveless soul?

I am dying and need you to save me. From life, from myself, from love.

Be my love for just one day. Then I promise you can walk away.

They always do.

It was wonderful sad in content of course but that was the beauty that attracted me in the first place.
But don't always think like that Barbara you'll find somebody one day and it will be worth everything. :) Enjoyed reading this piece . Keep up the good work.
