Soulless devotion

Soulless devotion

A Poem by Barbara Borel

I can't see you, feel you, smell you, touch you. Yet you are so real to me. The core of my being all of my soul loves you. All of you. Your goodness and your flaws, your kindness and humor. You are so beautiful that the angels mistake you for one of their own. Let Me Love You, Let Me protect you. I will save you from your demons and you will help me fight my battles. I want to proclaim to the heavens and hells that you are mine forever. I want the world to know you are real... we are real. Love, passion, trust, and faith. Above all else, our soulless devotion to one day be real.
