Fell Away

Fell Away

A Poem by Barbara Borel

The smell of your love fills me. Every touch every taste. So far apart it's such a waste.

How much longer will I have to wait? Can't you see how hard this is on me in this heartbroke state.

Do you love me is it real? For my heart only and barely did recently heal.

It hurts beyond words that you may not feel the same. But once again only I am to blame.

Why open my heart to love at all? When it is only shatters from its long fall.

At the end of this lonely life I will honestly say. Everyone I loved in the end fell away.
