The Hearts Great Unknown

The Hearts Great Unknown

A Poem by Barbara Borel

Heart races sweaty palms...Lump in throat whats going on?
If I can only stop thinking of you for just one day, I can't, I won't... my heart must stay.
Fear, anticipation, of the great unknown. After all these years of being alone.
Love conquers all or so they say. You live in my heart every single day.
My dearest love in my soul I will keep, your love, your tenderness, every tear from your cheek.
And if you will be so bold as to take my heart and soul. Forever my dear together my dear, we shall immortally never grow old.
