UntitledA Poem by Barbara BorelWritten in 1987 age 20
Softest pedals your lips can be, but sometimes I am looking through a strangers eyes as I see.
Maybe I'm blind and don't see at all. Catch me Catch me before I fall. Maybe Im falling into a forest of lust. Strange as it seems your the one I trust. So ask me for a ride, whichever one you choose. Because in the long-run, I am the one who will lose. Although ,my desire for you has long since been strong, my long senseless love for you will never long be gone. For even when the leaves have turned brown and washed away. In this desolate place I will forever stay. Until the day comes that you gallop with your white horse, my key in your heart you shall keep. And a bed of roses we shall lay in a deep sleep.
