MENU SALVATION

A Poem by Jason Baptiste

You're the food that brought happiness to my stomach,
The ingredients of which sad hunger was replaced,
Where starvation once reign havoc,
Leaving drawn and shrunken face.

Nourishing our malnutrition,
Departing decreasing weight,
Filled from fruitful fruition,
As we delightedly eat.

Regaining our energies,
Sustaining us today,
Thankful for the enormous deliveries,
For which many of the world prayed.
