YOUR FLOWER

YOUR FLOWER

A Poem by Jason Baptiste

I'am never out of sight
And many shall not see
When i'am a gift or a tool
Then some remembers me
You'll hear how i'am so distinguished
From writers and famous poets
Some never gave us water
And hasn't give us yet
For all your ceremonies
Events and even death
When the festivals are over
Some remember to forget
Exploited of our beauty
And natural embellishment
Products for big industries
Of humongous establishments
Never forget the symbol of the queen
For without can be born no king
When the flower meets a honest bee
we've got to keep the sting

Sweet, eloquent poem reminding us that however harsh life becomes, there is always beauty to be revered. Lovely imagery, form, flow, cadence and rhyme. Much talent here. Kudos!

........:))!
I love the rhythm, flow and simple and effective rhyme scheme.
I love how you used flower as a symbol to point out to the bigger things in life.

WELL DONE
