TREASURY OF SACRED MEMORIES

TREASURY OF SACRED MEMORIES

A Poem by Jason Baptiste

As the rising of the morning sun
Also was the resurrection
Of a treasure of sacred memories
From life's forgettable boundaries

Who journeyed through the tunnels of time
Rekindled buried valuables in my mind
When happiness was the reason we'll meet
Employed by recreation and life was sweet

Delighted by the cherishing we received
Over our loss jewels we'd grieved
Precious future directed by the past
Worth the multitude of reflections that lasts
