A Poem by Pallida mors
"

Love is such a risk sometimes

"

In the heady depths of my depression

I hear the dim call of your voice

Shall I wander towards you?

And leave this familiar void?

Do I run towards light

Do I close my eyes,

let my heart lead the way

to be stripped of night?

Can you save me

this new world I've encountered

Will you remove the temptation

to hide or cower?

Sign- you've led me astray

Pray - Do not leave me again

Full force

All that I'm running towards

Beause you are worth running for

I was going to make this into a song, but oh well.

I think this would work really well as a song. It's well-written, able to be related to, and it has a really nice rhythm. I rather enjoy your poetry, there's obviously a lot of emotion behind the expressions and they're very interesting to read, especially this. The title is very fitting, another great poem!

Happily depressed haha, don't ask me what that means, the people who know me best know what it means. A little odd - but hey, who else is going to write you a story for your birthday?!?!?!?! more..
