Snakes

Snakes

A Poem by Bane

The cheats
The fakes
The liars
They wrap their coils around you
With a smile they unwrap
Their unheard words are poison
Viscious slander behind your back
Their fork-ed tongues they moisten
With venom they conceal
Their true motives hidden
Skewing what is real
They slither in so silent
Bright eyes and a winning smile
Hidden intentions are so violent
Obscured my grace and style
They will make you love them
While they are waiting in the wings
Waiting to unleash their poison
And introduce you to their fangs
The cheats
The fakes
The liars
The serpents we all know
