My Eyes

My Eyes

A Poem by Bane

If only she had my eyes
Maybe then she'd realize
Why I can't help but stare
Her piercing eyes
Her flowing hair
Her skin so soft
I long to touch
Her pouted lips
Her fingers touch
All of this and more I see
When I gaze at her
Longingly
I cannot force myself to look away
From her body
Or her face
I only wish she had my eyes
Maybe then she'd realize

I enjoyed the simplicity of this, yet also the description you managed to cover in such few words. The rhyme scheme also caught my eye; it's unique, but also flows quite effortlessly. Lovely work.
