Grieving Angels~A Poem by Asif BalouchA poet friend of mine asked me to write something on refugee crisis so I wrote this poem I wrote... Dedicated to childrens
Alas! Asif
It feels like some force Have ripped out my heart And squeezed it When those angels Stares me through Emptied gaze ... Holding finger Whilst walk towards Destination unknown Those fairytale dreams Shattered by unwanted war Staring me through Emptied gaze As asking What is my sin What is my fault Searching ground for Shell, stones, rocks Ridding on shoulders With confusing thoughts Waiting and yearning For few pleasant drops To kill hunger, To fill thirst within Staring me through Emptied gaze As asking What is my sin What is my fault Ah! Balouch Grabbing the only Possession with grip So tight As if it will be snatched As well Than who will be the Companion for Darkened nights Holding cold bar like Caged in cub Staring me through Emptied gaze As asking What is my sin What is my fault © 2016 Asif Balouch |
