TIME FROWNS ME

I have lived through many things
and here I am today
time has flown away on wings
& now i am standing alone


Should I move forward
or Should I travel back
Should I stick with past thats blurred
or should I burn these memories into a stack


Should I drown myself in sorrows
or should i live with a smile on my face
Should I try to be graceful
or should I just live in my own space


Will I lose my past
Will it go away and fly
as the 'WISEMEN' say
Will "ECHOES fade & MEMORIES die'

I just can't live without my past

I won't let MEMORIES die

that make me smile

and make me cry.......

This is a singular title. Technically it should be "LOVE FROWNS UPON ME", but I like yours better. It give credence to the poem. You can't let your memories go, but they should not drown you. You can move foreard through the past, but can't go backward to meet the future (unless you're Michael J. Fox...)
