Let love die

Let love die

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu
"

I always wanted to write something about love.....so here it is

"
Its so hard,to live without you
I am just a bard
who is a bard, because of you
and you don't love me no more, thats so true.

But now I want to rip you
from every single bone of my flesh
But I am trying to lie to myself
To push you out of my heart's mesh.

You want to hate me
& want to break me
into a million shards in your head
But you can't remove me from
that heart of yours, the heart of lead.

Are those little pieces of heart or gem
Lying on the subway, near that milestone
Oh! I need to gather them
cause those little pieces are of my own.

And here you are,got a bit late
Thanks for coming on my incineration place
Come sit near my ash, lets have our last date
Give me a smile, cause i love your smiling face.
