I love you, You loved meA Poem by Balkaran SidhuI love you, and you loved me That has been the most important thing of my interwoven existence. You are the root of my life A star that defines my legacy Like a tender veil you cover me with hope I am caught in a stumbled world That knows nothing about reality I love you, but I am alone I don't have a place to dream or a friend to smile for You don't love me? Who are you then? You made me realise my beauty and then took it with you What purpose you had in my life? Love walks alone with rocks that cut my tender feet The vacant horizon never arrives If eternity is still alive If there is still a bit of indivisibility left in us Then let me make you immortal with my verses, again I love you, and you loved me God I see no purpose in filling sheets Tear off my mortality then And free my purity from my human heart.
