As the Sunlight that Dies in the Night but Resurrects again every Morning

As the Sunlight that Dies in the Night but Resurrects again every Morning

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

There are those evening moments
when my love threatens to ceize for you
I realise the pain and I move on

And then there are these morning moments when
How I realize I have loved you always
More than myself
More than the essential nutrients
More than the sunlight
More than the air

You are in my heart and my mouth
Like incadencent saliva
Like noiseless dew
Like a harmonious beat that carries me

I miss you always
In my little moments
Between the time's tiny atoms
Memories of how we smiled together

But I can never truly smile again
While you are in some unknown territory
The clouds of loneliness
haunt me, surround my morning again
There is no sunlight, only a little hope of it

There are flowers next to me
When I wake up to your name
I see how last night, the stars were not
As numerous as today

I have grown into a beloved passenger
Where love is my home
I who begged you to stay here
In a crossword puzzle lifetime
Of loving more than life itself.

Wow!its been three weeks I have came here since…and reading this made me just speechless. I love the vibrant emotions you have penned which are so touching and makes this piece really splendid. The diction is strong enough to carry the weight of that true love in so sweet a style. I really loved the last stanza. It is really very ravishing.
Thanks for sharing!!pen on!!
