Living like a God

Living like a God

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

You have lived like a God
Calm , composed in yourself
You tailored your life perfectly
Scripted in the city of rainbows

You shine like the white lightning
To catch the monuments falling
The departure of lovers, patriots
You swarm destiny with no promises

Like a indivisible beauty
You listen carefully to the prayers
You believe in yourself,
You honor your victories

And count yourself lucky
You really live like a God
Aloof, eccentric, intrinsic

You wrap your silence in
prayers, lordship that you possess
You whisper like wind,
cry like the rain

You live like a God
Aren't you tired, of vigilance
Against invaders, much anticipated
The mythology that exists inevitably .
