That Moment in Time (May 13)A Poem by Balkaran SidhuMy 8th piece...in last 24 hours :)Shall I move my fingers off? The cautiaus frailness of your heart There is nothing there but a barrier It leaves me standing there As I plead you for the last time "Give me a chance dear, I ll change everything". With an unlikely thud You push me away, threaten me Telling me, "I don't want this". My stuttering returns, my trembling For your merchant smile goodbye Every memory of that moment makes me fall in love with death. The deception of my insecurities fled Like the lies of biological warmth My nerves fumble, my spirit rushes. Your words, they savour my heart blunt and sharp, cutting through my heart The blood against my ears. I turned to go, Hoping that one day you will come back Little did I knew It would be the very last time.
