Envisioning my own MiseryA Poem by Balkaran SidhuI do not see a future without poverty and misery Beggars and cripples, I am among them I can not envision a future Without orphans and lonely people There is no post-obit balance in here Around time’s suffering, we are what we are We will always be what we really are I won’t be afraid To show my sufferings In hopeless debt, emotional crisis I will survive and reach blindly towards love, given never returned Indebted to a ruthless universe Whose to say that I did not ask once For seething storms, hopeless years. Among heartless skies and thorny rainbows the hurting gifts of the nature. I do not see a future, without You in it, without the absence of finding People like me, whatever it is, that I am.
