Foolish Angel

Foolish Angel

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

For a minute, just for a minute
think about the soul who loves you.
Have you ever wondered
why he keeps loving you, after all this
that you have done to him,and he has done to himself

Have you ever wondered if anybody could ever love you like him?
Purely, truely, no conditions, just love
no lustful acts, no physical memories
who just loves you for your soul.

Did you ever looked back at the past
felt the blissful moments you lived
Bonds strengthened by hearts, not by distance.

Have you ever wondered
what would it take to stop him from loving you
a lifetime, or more?
and what would it take to make you love him
Did you ever, my mangled angel?

Love is just a biological act for you,so called realist
Look into love with his eyes
it is a spiritual wonder, divine connection
brewed in selflessness,surrender, understanding.

May be he is destined for misery,
death of your hands, with every breath
Do you think he would change his feelings, ever?

He is just a poet of mourning
and you are a foolish angel, spoilt by his too much loving.
