Change, A bitter fragment

Change, A bitter fragment

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

Change is the only constant
A bitter fragment of necessary sips
Tomorrow comes as happy burst
Oblivion gladly descending.

Come, take my time, water, thoughts
I will look at you with amazement
I can manage a life under your perennial beauty

So much too, these eyes will never see
The discovery of astonishing abandonment s
We become expert and magus
Upon our own unique condition.

Of the legends of our memories
The ones most dear who bid us adieu
The profound miracles that then occurred

Come, take my time, spirit, joys
I will love you with utter fascination
I am beholding you through years and houses
From a letter thrown on a table
And a line that belonged to my lost life

And the imagined truths we felt
In the beautiful city of our youth
Waiting with a blade of the night
For the yellow sun to cast her nets
Behind the glass of my mortal body

Come take my heart and soul
Until our memories live through the images
And lets hear chords and choruses of afterlife, together.
