Remembrance of a dreamA Poem by Balkaran Sidhu
I still remember the way you entered
into my barren lands of with your pigeon head down smiling with our cathedral secret. Turning your back from me You feared my passionate eyes scared of the fluttering visions around patiently feasting on my silent heartbeat I stood there, fighting with all my strength but weak underneath I still remember how you stepped in on our second encounter I could feel the words in the eyes yet standing as unfathomable skies. I am still moved by your voice every hymn filling life into me filling more breath into hopes But my dreams suffer the curse of barren lands. © 2013 Balkaran Sidhu |
