Love Lantern

Love Lantern

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

Under the blaze of love lantern
where I hued my metaphors
With concepts primed for infinite comprehension
lies the quantum purity of these shallow verses.

All those words that I have written for you
Consistent poems and astrological aspects
With only thought for the highest heaven
Too ethereal to be embraced by a mortal

So threaten not, with love in your wings.
Teaching the gold of patience
And the holiness of waiting
The sacred bliss of service

But to love, I never felt the wondrous sea
But as the blanket of the stars
Many sails at rest, many little
Drops of silence to the west
After my visit of loving
Came the reimbursed delight

I never stoppied being grateful
Though I found no triumph in writing
The morns are just meeker.
