The Whisks Of Change

The Whisks Of Change

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

I have been a dream in myself
a mirror to those that linger in my heart
They shall pass one day
like the eternity we lived in.

I was a child's compassion
Midst the deep condolence of my brevity
I have become a prospect of optimism
After Autumn memories have haunted me.

My heart has held freckled hopes
Of spiritual consensus
My last desires have been elevated
in the crayoned pulses of my nights.

But one day soon
I shall be reborn, among the glorious whisks
After death could bind me in its breath
After the most despised farewells
I will trace your omnipresence.

But Why is that my heart still burns
Upon the eminence that desires you
And even your opaque smile changes
All my grief in an hermetic of perpetual joy.
