A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

Beloved, you are a lost territory to me
I stare at your eyes with love
your smile, my perceived heaven.

You know dear, I would say it all over again
I love you, I would cling onto you till eternity
But I guess words don't matter now,
emotions do.

Beloved, I called you angel
cause I couldn't see the mortal in you
You were my new wonders
Of the curiosity of shoreless heart.

I write to drink all of my pain
that reminds me off the days
when suicide seemed the best option

Beloved, do not laugh at my spoilt looks
Don't take my spiritual passions as lust
I know, people call me an impoverished fool
But I have a good heart.
