Your Deluded Philosophy

I loved more than what was possible

More than what was necessary

I perhaps loved you more than you deserved

In the poetic rage of too much living!

 

You floated away from my bulk of love

Confined in your own obsessions

Inside the false shackles of real-life burdens

And in the anatomy of going frenetic.

 

I still stand here,flowing like a narrow creek

ready to fill your alluviums with minerals

I am still the spring sun

who can make your buds grow.

 

I love you too, more than you could handle

more than you could imagine,my spiritual passion

Now that I have lost authority of my heart

Who am I to give it to anyone?

I carry you like an artist

In your deluded philosophy 

I cherish the Quantum woes of sun

All for you my pretty one.

Wow...this was remarkable. I am absolutely in love with this piece, and it is going straight into my favorites shelf.

The imagery here is fantastic, and you wrote with such a steady, well trained hand that I felt as though I was traveling with you through your thoughts. I write and read so much poetry, that is is often difficult for me to become completely moved by something, but this did it, my friend.

So often, we love blindly, and the object of our affection is so altered by the shackles of "life" that they forget to look (really look) at what is right in front of them. "It could have been so wonderful...", I have said these words so many times, and this poem reminds me of that.
