Ode To Slyvia

Ode To Slyvia

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

I have seen your watery forms
Sweet ideals that make occults moan
And I ran out of paper
describing your beauty in my impediments.

The sunlight swears under your smile
Like solar prominence
That flickers against the heaven
Lightning your crystal-pure nirvana.

The aura smells your fragrances,
the mysticism of your soul
My heart listens for your divine whispers
like the sound of oceanic waves.

Your necklace of innocence,
and the gold of truth,
makes me feel a little bit damned
Yet I can’t trace your elegance.

With the bowl of your tenderness,
let me follow you
With all the longings, my frigid limbs
My opacity embraces luminosity when you are around.
