Sonnet 7

Sonnet 7

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

Where doth thou keepst thy heart?
Amongst voids lying in our fluey  way
Betwixt castles whence our love thwart
in sunburnt dearth of spring heyday.

To all thy beauty that doth bliss me,
And to thy hued charms bids my heart
Where in my spirit lives an image of thee
My thoughts of love thou canst share a part.

But heart mine dost embrace thee
Even though thy love, methinks wary
Thy thoughts but canst flee from me
thole I shalt,a heartbeat bleary.

Prithee to emboss me in thy bridewell
Durst to give thy heart,I wilt blend in hues and pastel.

I heard somewhere he sometimes tosses his beloved to wolves. Can't say for sure why. But I read about Bactrian camels recently that would refuse to feed milk to its new born. Something I think to do with the way the Individual and social life spite with each other on the peaks, like the Gods of the sun.
