I mourn thy absence

I mourn thy absence

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

In the arpeggios of perception
In this world of my airy dreams
A concerto of light less arrays
I sigh for your departure

My spirit mourns for your absence
While the other chunks of my soul , celebrate
In the false sense of enlightenment
Of the heart, in a world saturated of treasures.

My body aches for earthly pains
So that my verses will be nourished
I dream of the unfulfilled future
And yearn more than anything

And in the sweet everglade of my heart
lives a memory and an image
In blazing big-bangs of origins
where orions are redefined phrases.

I surrender to future desolations
To salvage the eclipse of hope
And lie enslaved, confined in the debacle
glued to my early years of innocence.

You're welcome!
This poem is absolutely stunning. My favourite stanza is the first one, which is where I went "whoa..." and I'm a sucker for semantic fields of spirituality ;P nice one!
